Get to know a little bit about Brock Rogers. This year is Brock's very first year driving a racecar. Brock is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. Brock is excited to be able to race this year and he will be racing alongside his older brother Blake Rogers in the same Bandolero Division. A few of the tracks Brock will be racing at are; Lake Havasu 95 Speedway, the I-10 Blythe Speedway, and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March 2013. This year Brock's main goal is to gain speed, learn the feel of the car, and by the end of the season get a top 5 finish. These Bandolero cars can have a top speed of about 65 miles per hour, imagine driving at that speed when you are 8 years old! Brock has pretty big shoes to fill with his brother Blake having had 5 Championships in the last 6 years, but Brock says he is up for it and will try hard to beat his brothers record. The Rogers family are proud of their boys and the accomplishments they make and say that racing is such a great way to spend quality family time together. Cheering for each other, helping out one another, and spending time together that's what it's all about!
